One filled a loft with stories and sculpture.
One handed me a paintbrush at twelve.
One said yes to the Getty.
Jason Kristofer is a creative director and brand strategist known for shaping brands that move markets quietly but decisively.
Every brand I build starts with a pen, a table, and a decision to do it differently.
He was raised in Brooklyn, surrounded by artists who treated creativity as daily ritual. His uncle, sculptor Ned Smyth, showed him, just by living, that creativity could be a path, not just a pastime. He apprenticed under Keith Haring, helping paint a three-story Statue of Liberty banner and spending time in Haring’s SoHo loft, where process mattered more than polish. That’s where he learned how to make work that lives longer than the moment.
His work spans industries. Fashion, film, wellness, tech. Clients range from cultural icons to high-growth startups. He doesn’t just make things look better. He builds the story, the system, and the signal behind the brand.
He’s spoken at OFFF in Sydney and hosted creative sessions at the Getty. He brought together artists like Shepard Fairey and Michael Muller. The work is rarely loud, but the invitations tend to come from people who are paying attention.
Today, Jason works directly with founders and executive teams who understand that branding isn’t decoration.
It’s infrastructure.
